Project DescriptionThis road is now servicing a new growth area and is also a heavy vehicle tranport route. The existing road pavement is in poor condition and the road needs to be widenend to improve safety. Road drainage is poor and this will be addressed as part of the upgrade.
Construct kerb and channel on both sides of the road for the full length from Elm Avenue to Wireless Road West, remove existing pavement (reuse any suitable salvage material in the new road), construct a new widenend the pavement and provide a new surface to the reconstructed road. The new surface will be a 2 coat "chip" seal.
Total cost of proposed project is $510,000 |
