Project DescriptionSignificant damage is sustained to the road at multiple locations in this section during rainfall events due to creeks that intersect with the road. The road surface suffers from considerable scouring and loss of compacted surface gravel as well as the dropping of silt when the creeks run, causing them to become impassable.
Construction of concrete floodways to make the creek crossings passable to all traffic during rainfall events and alleviate damage to the road. The concrete floodways will all be 7 metres wide but of varying lengths.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,035,266 |
