Project DescriptionThe kerb and channel within Kathleen Street has become misaligned along significant portions of the street causing flooding and ingress of water to the pavement. The road has a high crown causing access problems to properties. There is no Council underground drainage within the street which increases the requirement on the kerb and channel alignment to be correct.
It is proposed to reconstruct the kerb and channel and road pavement to allow water to drain and construct an underground drainage system within the street with side entry pits to collect water from the kerb and channel. Crossovers will also be remediated, along with affected nature strips and footpaths.
Total cost of proposed project is $343,800 |
