Project DescriptionThe existing causeway crossing over Crooked Creek is too low and is regularly overtopped by flood waters, which creates a severe safety hazard during the wet season for motorists. During flood events local residents decome stranded because flood waters overtop the existing causeway.
The proposal is to remove the existing low level causeway and replace it with a higher one lane concrete causeway which will provide a safer high level crossing over Crooked Creek.
Total cost of proposed project is $165,000 |
