Project DescriptionThe project involved raising road embankments and upgrades to various flood ways and crossings through the Moyle River floodplain. BenefitsThe project aimed to improve flood immunity, safety and reliability; increase efficiency of freight movements, and improve productivity of the freight corridors. FundingThe Australian Government contributed over $15.4 million towards this project. TimetableConstruction commenced in late-2014, and was completed in August 2016. |
