Project DescriptionThe project constructed two new high level bridges over the Roper and Wilton rivers and approximately 7 kilometres of bridge approach works. BenefitsThe project has improved flood immunity, safety and reliability, increased the efficiency of freight movements, and improved the productivity of freight corridors. FundingThe Australian Government contributed $38.7 million towards this project. TimetableConstruction commenced in April 2016 and concluded in December 2017. |
