Project DescriptionThe project involved the installation of traffic lights at the intersection of Bedford Road and Great Ryrie Street in Ringwood. BenefitsThe project addressed safety issues and a traffic bottleneck at the intersection which should provide a safer environment for pedestrians. FundingThe Australian Government is fully funding this $1 million project. TimetableTraffic signal installation works commenced on 21 September 2015 and were completed in November 2015. The traffic signals became operational on 23 March 2017. |
