Project DescriptionCharles Street is the main collector road in the Orford township. The standard of condition of the kerb and gutter on the eastern side, from Elizabeth Street to CH 280 is sub-standard, broken up and causing issues for safety and also creates issues for local stormwater flows.
The concrete kerb and gutter requires replacement to eliminate water getting under the road pavement and causing further pavement failures. The concrete footpath will also be replaced adjacent the kerb section being replaced. |
