Project DescriptionThe pavement material is breaking up due to substandard material, with the natural surface material becoming a part of the surface material in some areas. The road surface is subsequently rough and uneven. This affects the trafficability and safety of the road which is a haulage route for grain trucks.
The existing surface will be ripped, crushed and mixed with the pavement material. A cement based additive will also be mixed. This will strengthen the pavement. The surface will be prepared and sealed with bitumen |
