Project DescriptionThis section has been damaged by Road Trains bringing cattle from the Northern Territory to Queensland for sale because of the prevailing drought conditions. Sections have turned to bulldust because of the lack of rain to compact the road. Other sections have been rutted. This has resulted in dangerous road conditions.
It is proposed to water, grade & roll the road to bring it to an acceptable level. The total project cost is $255,000 including $127,500 of TIDS funding. R2R funding will be $55,976 & Council will contribute the balance of $71,524.
