Project DescriptionThis project includes planning and priority upgrades along the Pine River to Caloundra Road corridor of the Bruce Highway to address congestion, safety and flooding issues. BenefitsThe benefits of the planning project are to identify infrastructure solutions, including the integration of Intelligent Transport System infrastructure, that will address safety, capacity and traffic congestion issues as well as improving flood immunity. FundingThe Australian Government has committed up to $8 million towards the project, in partnership with the Queensland Government. TimetableThe planning component of the project commenced in mid 2018 and completed in mid 2020. |
