Project DescriptionThe National Network Flood Immunity Improvements project is part of the $77 million Northern Territory Roads Package.
The project includes construction of two new high level bridges over Saddle Creek on the Victoria Highway and reconstruction of approaches. BenefitsThe flood immunity works will improve the reliability of the highway network and reduce the frequency and extent of road closures due to flooding. FundingThe Australian Government is contributing up to $6.83 million towards this project. TimetableWorks commenced mid-2015 and were completed in late 2016. |
