Project DescriptionThe project provided a new left turn lane at Terang-Mortlake Road and a new right turn lane at Old Peterborough Road. BenefitsThe project has improved the movement of heavy vehicles in Terang by replacing the previous heavy vehicle route on Cobden-Terang Road with a new heavy vehicle route on Old Peterborough Road. This has improved local amenity and safety. FundingThe cost of the project was $0.97 million. The Australian Government contributed $728,191 and the Victorian Government $242,730. TimetableConstruction commenced on 19 February 2015 and was completed on 9 June 2015. |
