Project DescriptionThe existing road surface is made up principally of loose sand and clay based material that is slippery when wet.
In an effort to rectify this problem, it is proposed to carry out reconstruction of the existing road surface to upgrade to a seven metre bitumen prime seal standard. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road surface drainage along with water binding gravel road pavement and laying of a seven metre bitumen prime seal. Project Length - two and a half kilometres. |
