Project DescriptionExisting heavily trafficked urban street with adjacent schools and on a bus route. Pavement age exceeds 20 years. Asphalt wearing course has areas of cracking, and flushing and kerbing along both sides of the road is damaged and has very little kerb face. There are also some isolated sections of wearing course / pavement failure. The existing footpath along a number of sections is also in poor condition.
Proposed treatment is to remove and replace kerbing along both sides for full length of works i.e. 650m with new semi-mountable kerb, crack seal, repair failed areas of pavement and then apply 30mm stone mastic asphalt overlay for full length i.e. 650m. |
