Project DescriptionCurrent traffic management at this location is via unsignalised intersection and traffic management and safety of pedestrians is poor leading to congestion and unsafe pedestrian movements. Conflict issues exist between school based, public transport and through traffic flows on a sub arterial roadway. The upgrade of the intersection is required to address congestion and improve traffic and pedestrian safety.
Creation of a signalised intersection. Proposed intersection improvements to reduce direct conflict and improve intersection performance and provide a signalised pedestrian flow path to improve safe student access.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,249,511 |
