Project DescriptionDeformations in the existing pavement currently hold water and the cracking allows water ingress to the payement, resulting in potholes and pavement failure requiring regular reinstatement. The current width of the road does not meet the fit for purpose standards for freight movements and does not provide safe passage for cyclists or pedestrians.
The proposed work includes renewal of the road pavement, kerb and water table and drainage infrastructure and removal of the on-street bicycle lanes, which are to be replaced with a shared path.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,131,000 |
