Project DescriptionThe existing intersection is a Y-intersection with existing safety concerns caused by the alignment of the intersection which restricts sight distance and causes uncertainty amongst drivers regarding who has right of way.
The project is to reconstruct the intersection as a standard T-intersection and provide right turn refuge in Old Gippsland Rd. Works will involve reconstruction and widening for 200 metres in Old Gippsland Rd and 75 metres in Old Hereford Rd.
