Project DescriptionExisting probelms include wide traffic lanes of 7 metres with no physical delineation, leading to cars overtaking each other along the road, poor street lighting, limited drainage infrastructure resulting in traffic hazzards associated with local flooding, significant pavement defects and the road is currently unsuitable for the increase in traffic volume due to surrounding greenfields development.
Work proposed includes road reconstruction, upgraded lighting, provision of kerb protuberances, on road parking areas and linemarking. New kerbing will also be provided to improve drainage and improve the stormwater system to cater for expected runoff.
Total cost of proposed project is $6,050,000 |
