Existing rural unsealed pindan road accessing special rural properties and the coast for recreation/tourist activities. The existing road is corrugated and slippery when wet and extremely dusty in the dry being located adjacent to residentail properties. Current high road traffic volumes from extra recreational traffic tavelling to the coast meet the standard warrents for the full construction and sealing of the road.
Using in situ and imported basecourse material, construct a 7.4m wide rural type cross section pavement and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal with improved drainage.
Total cost of proposed project is $438,703
