Deterioration of existing road and existing gravel & concrete floodways that are subject to local flooding causing major washouts and unsafe conditions to the travelling public.
Upgrade existing section of road to a 6 metre seal with 150mm top up gravel on a 7 metre wide unbound pavement, including upgrading of existing two (2) concrete floodways with concrete batter protection on upstream and downstream to a total length of 75metres including the installation of culvert under the concrete floodways to enable to drain the ponding water on the upstream. (Ch 35.67 2 sets 450mmx1200x9.6m and Ch 35.95 - 2 sets 375mmx1200mmx9.6m) to 8metres wide x 200mm thick concrete floodways. Total Length of Bitumen Sealing is 3.263km
Total cost of proposed project is $919,942
