Road safety issues, low flood immunity at Bullockhead Creek crossing, insufficient number of lanes to cater for future traffic volumes.
Upgrade Progress Road from two lanes to a median divided five lane carriageway. New bridge structure to replace existing culverts. Work also includes land resumption for road widening, relocation of services and creek revegetation and stabilisation works.
Total cost of proposed project is $33,875,323
