Project DescriptionBanjima Drive has been sealed up to the 20 kilometre point and the continued sealing of the final 8 kilometres completes the sealing of the Shire owned length of this road. The existing road is gravel and grading is now difficult due to the rock exposure from years of grading and major rutting of the road. Use of the road has become a difficult for tourists especially those towing caravans accessing the campsites and a lot of damages to vehicles and caravans has been reported.
Construct, stabilise and prepare for seal, then seal. Completion of required drainage, signage and guideposts.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,700,000 |
