Project DescriptionThe proposed works will address the following; strengthen the road and prevent continual edge break; Improve the drainage along the road and extension to existing culvert; Provide overflow parking for Macdonald Park; Formalise the shoulder for future traffic facilities; Improve pedestrian and cyclist access to the area and provide provision for future shared path connection to the Albion Park & Albion Park Rail Town Centre(s)/ Main Street(s).
Shellharbour City Council propose to formalise and widen sections of shoulder approximately 700m2, including asphalt seal; The installation of a SA Type Gutter to provide a pedestrian barrier; The installation of kerb and gutter approximately 150m and drainage works including culvert extension and the installation of a monowills type fence along the top of the headwall. |
