Churchill Road is a designated heavy vehicle route. The bitumin kerbs are very old and in some places almost non-existent, The bitumin gutters are very old and large sections are badly eroded. Parking areas are poorly defined. The above issues have not been addressed for many years because of unanswered questions about road widening.
Construct in-situ concrete kerbs and gutters, repair edges of road pavement to match new gutters construct indented parking bays, upgrade side entry drains and associated drain access covers, modify street lighting as required to accommodate above changes, adjust driveways to match new concrete crossover-inverts, re-locate footpaths where necessary, install street furniture and landscaping.
Total cost of proposed project is $720,000
