Project DescriptionTwo kilometres of road just outside of the town on the Strzelecki Track are unsealed and become dusty and corrugated in the summer and slippery after rain events. Dusts generated by road trains linger on the road and within the town, causing safety and health issues to local road users and local residents.
The work will involve reconstructing two kilometres of road just outside of the town and sealing to 8 metres to mitigate the dust problem and to improve accessibility to the township. |
