The existing road is unsealed and become dusty and corrugated in the summer and slippery after rain events. Dusts generated by traffic linger in the town, causing safety and health issues to the local road users and local residents.
The work will involve reconstructing and sealing of the entire length of Browne Street. Browne Street is 960 metres long by 7 metres wide. The work will mitigate the dust problem and improve accessibility to properties for local residents.
