Project DescriptionThe kerb and channel within Davis Street has become misaligned along significant portions of the street causing flooding and ingress of pavement. The road has a high crown causing access problem to properties. There is minimal and ineffective drainage at each end of Davis Street which increases the requirement on the kerb and channel alignment to be correct.
It is proposed to reconstruct the kerb and channel and road pavement to allow water to drain as well as construct an underground drainage system within the street with side entry pits to collect water from the kerb and channel. Crossovers will also be remediated with affected nature strip and footpaths.
Total cost of proposed project is $525,000 |
