Project DescriptionA 1.2 km section of Boneo is built through a wetland / swamp. The sub-base through this section is failing, causing the road pavement and seal to break up. The existing road is also quite narrow for its function as the secondary access to the end of the Mornington Peninsula. Traffic volumes on Boneo exceed 10,000vpd through the summer months.
Reconstruct the sub-base of the road, including the installation of box culverts, and road widening / sealed shoulder cosntruction.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,857,034 |
