Project DescriptionThese sections have inferior subgrade and have suffered extensive deformation and cracking as a result of increased heavy vehilce movements and rainfall. The existing pavement displays extensive edge damage on sections that have not received heavy patching. The edge damage involves deep drop offs and breaking away of the seal into the travel path.
Rehabilitate road by excavating unsuitable material, adding suitable crushed gravel, stabilise road subgrade, grade and roll to desired shape and compaction, followed by a bitumen seal. Clear culvert, mitres, tabledrains and reinstate missing guide posts
Total cost of proposed project is $243,182 |
