Road is narrow, due in part to lack of formal parking arrangements. Access is difficult for several properties on the northern side, due to steep grades.No formal footpath -dangerous for pedestrians.Drainage is inadequate.
Reconstruct the road over a distance of 300 metres. Lower the pavement to improve sight distance. Construct new stormwater drainage and kerb & gutter. Widen the roadway to 8 metres kerb to kerb. Provide footpath on northern side. Substantial cut/fill on northern side to improve property access.
Total cost of proposed project is $926,961
