Project DescriptionThis is one of the 18 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program.
This project involves planning to identify a route for a future bypass or alternative heavy vehicle route at Chinchilla. BenefitsThe project will identify and assess options to improve safety and capacity at this location. FundingThe Australian Government is providing up to $800,000 to the project in partnership with the Queensland Government. TimetableThe planning project commenced in April 2016, and was completed in late 2019. |
