Project Description

This is one of the 20 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program.

The project involved an intersection upgrade at Leichhart Highway west of Miles including pavement strengthening of failing pavements between the intersection and Miles.


The project has improved safety and capacity at this location.


The Australian Government provided $9.2 million to the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.


Construction commenced in early 2018 and was completed in late 2018.
