Project DescriptionA new subdivision on Banks Road will increase traffic volumes on this road. Extra crossovers onto this section of road, due to the subdivision, can only be approved if the road is sealed and white lined allowing the road speed to be reduced to 80kph.
Preparing this 1.2 kilometre section of road to take a primer seal in the 2015-2016 year. Work will involve cutting and filling, compaction and water binding to design levels.
