Project DescriptionMost off road drainage associated with this road has been upgraded over the last 5 years however years of poor drainage, inadequate rock placement and poor grading practices have led to substandard base and wearing course. Cross-fall drainage is non-existent in areas and and where there is no wearing or base course only natural material, baking distances have become unsafe. Potholes return almost immediately after grading and rock is washed into drains.
Rip and re-shape with grader. Place base and wearing course where required and roll in.
