Project DescriptionThe shoulders are devoid of gravel, creating a hazardous edge drop. The existing sealed pavement has a lot of cracking and is rough in sections. The road has an average of 111 vehicles per day, of which 32% of these are heavy vehicles. The high percentage of heavy vehicles indicates it is used as a freight route.
Widen pavement to 2 lanes (9m formation), overlay and strengthen existing pavement. Renew large culvert structure. Add new line marking, signs and delineation. |
