Project Description

The pavement is very rough as the pavement has failed. The kerb and gutter along this section has also failed. Battye Street is an urban arterial road feeding the Central Business District from the north. It is estimated that Battye Street would attract over 2000 vehicle movements per day.

Renew 505m of kerb and gutter and reconstruct 3,440m2 of road pavement. The crown of the road needs to be lowered to alleviate accessibility problems to the adjacent properties.
