Project DescriptionThis section of road is narrow and at only 4 metres wide is deficient in width. The shoulders are devoid of gravel, creating a hazardous edge drop, particularly in wet conditions.
The existing sealed surface is in good condition therefore it is proposed to widen the road rather than a complete rehabilitation.
During the works, the scope of works expanded to include an intersection upgrade with Willawong Road, the extension and upgrade of 2 culverts and the application of a final 14/7mm 2 coat seal and reseal over the existing pavement. |
