Project DescriptionThis extend of Veresdale Scrub Road is a narrow section of road comprising a sealed width varying between five metres and six metres. Subsequently, the extent of road experiences gravel shoulder wear from traffic and the road pavement is in poor condition. This section also has a low level floodway with low flood immunity. This road is an important link for a growing community.
Proposed road works include pavement reconstruction, gravel pavement overlay, table drain profiling, road culvert extensions, road culvert installations for improved flood immunity, bitumen sealing and vegetation clearing to achieve nine metre wide road formation.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,800,000 |
