The 6 year old primer seal was laid following reconstruction in 2009. A second seal is now essential to provide a good surface that will significantly extend the life of the road.
A second coat spray seal will be applied to the road surface to protect the road base and extend the longevity of the road as per the Citys Road Asset Management Plan.
