Project DescriptionThere has been excessive deterioration of the unsealed pavement combined with an inadequate base course and an exposed sub-base. This has lead to an unsafe carriageway, ineffective drainage and severe corrugations.
It is proposed to sheet with new roadbase to a depth of 200mm, waterbind and roll to achieve a 6 metre wide carriageway and also to construct spoon drains to improve drainage. |
