Project DescriptionThe eastern end of the Adelaide St Service Road currently intersects with the Sturt Highway. This intersection is on a bend, a slight hill and has poor sight distance as well as difficulty in vehicles matching the traffic speed when pulling onto the highway. The service road is to be extended east so that it intersects with Wilga Road, (local road) to create a safer environment. In preparation for the extension of the there are drainage issues to be addressed in the road reserve which floods and scours into the creek, as water flows overland.
This project is to install stormwater drainage infrastructure and to perform bulk earthworks in preparation for road construction in the 15/16 financial year. |
