Project DescriptionTree roots have severely damaged the stormwater drainage system causing flooding. The trees have been removed. The stormwater drainage system has been inspected and found to be severely damaged by tree roots. The manholes and catchpits along this section require reconstruction. There are some pavement failures also along this length that require reconstruction.
Remove and replace existing 450mm diameter stormwater, approximately 105m in length, with 600mm diameter pipe, reconstruct 5 manholes and 3 catchpits. Trench needs to be reinstated with stabilised material and the pavement reinstated. There are also pavement failures along this length, slk 0.95 corner Clive St and Dore and slk 0.97 corner Clive St and Taylor St, that require stabilisation and resealing. Installation of this also requires closure of Richardson Street to allow for construction of stormwater crossing. traffic management plan and traffic management will be required. |
