Project DescriptionThe portion of Frogmore Road identified for work is currently a narrow, dilapidated road pavement and wearing surface on a significantly windy and undulating alignment. There are large trees within the road shoulder clear zone making for significant roadside hazards in this section. The road has significant tourist traffic as the main southern approach to Wyangala Waters State Park
The road formation will be widened and the pavement strengthened with additional road base material. Localised roadside safety hazards will be removed. Crests in road way will be removed to improve sight distances. The horizontal alignment of the road will be straightened. Drainage structures will be altered to align with widening. A new widened seal will be applied. |
