Project DescriptionThe existing sealed road is in poor condition with numerous surface defects and pavement failures. The road is very rough and provides poor ride quality to road users. Repair of the frequent and repetitive pavement and surface failures causes high maintenance expenditure.
Rehabilitation of the road pavement by application of a gravel overlay and new sealed surface. Correct any crossfall deficiencies with the new gravel layer. Replace unreinforced pipe culverts with reinforced concrete pipes and new headwalls. The road alignment and width will remain similar to the existing road. |
