Project DescriptionFour reinforced concrete pipe culverts of various sizes and one small box culvert are in poor condition. These culverts have been repaired (patched) regularly over the past few years. This road is the main route from the Castlereagh Highway to the Curban Silo’s, so in harvest time heavy vehicles (Articulate, B-Doubles and Road Trains) are the primary users.
Remove old culverts, renew base bed and install new 450mm (internal) reinforced concrete pipes and headwalls. Clean and shape both inlet and outlet. Reconstruct road pavements over culverts. |
