The proposed section has the following defects: failures in both wheel paths, deep depresions, crocodile cracking and the asphalt surface is old, brittle and oxidised. Both the surface and pavement have major failures.
Pavement rehabilitation consisting in-situ stabilisation of the existing pavement and a new asphalt wearing surface (using 50mm thick size 14mm dense graded asphalt) including the installation of subsoil drainage.
Total cost of proposed project is $157,400
