Project DescriptionRoad pavement has failed due to heavy vehicles from Burra Foods. It has become a hazard to road users and the general public.
It is proposed to reconstruct the existing pavement. This requires to dig out the existing pavement to an approximate depth of 550 millimetres, lay geotextile and grid at the base, fill 300 millimetres with scalpings and import 200 millimetres of class 3 crushed rock to foam bitumen, then add a 50 millimetre thick layer of Type H asphalt |
