Project DescriptionRoad pavement has failed due to poor subgrade and has become a hazard to road users and the general public. The kerb and channel and drainage within this section of road is also in poor condition and is also undersize and can't cope with 1 in 5 year storms
It is proposed dig out 200 millimetres of existing road pavement and lime stabilize 300 millimetres of subgrade. Import 200 millimetres of Class 3 crushed rock and cement stabilize, then import an additional 100 millimetres of Class 2 crushed rock and lay a 30 millimetre Tynpe N asphalt. Replace all existing kerb and channel, replace all existing drainage pits and underground pipes to an appropriate size. |
