Project DescriptionProblems being addressed are the poor roadside drainage and rutting and shifting of the road surface and loss of gravel surface which contributes to the poor wearing surface.
Works proposed to be undertaken for this project is to seal 1.0km of the road, which will seal a steep grade on this section of road. This will involve drainage improvements and importing, spreading, shaping and compacting gravel and applying a bituminous seal to the 1.0km newly formed road pavement.
